Announcing MATRIX-L: A discussion list dedicated to issues in visual culture with an emphasis on contemporary art and theory.

MATRIX-L comes from my desire to continue discussions which seem to end prematurely due to time, room, and logistic restrictions. Instead of five phone calls it is one e-mail. It is a meeting point not bound by geography. It is a way to easily distribute information of common interest. It is networked discourse that begins with the intimacy of a cocktail party.
